Hot Wheels Scorchers were introduced in the Hot Wheels Line in 1979 and stayed in the line through 1981. These cars came with a spring powered motor.
When you pulled the cars backwards and let them go, cars would race around the track. All the Scorchers have chrome windows and 8-spoke wheels, with rubber tires.
A Scorcher Chamber accessory item was also available to make the scorchers go around a clear cylinder.
This is a complete list with picture of all Scorcher known releases.
