This Hot Wheels Midnight Cruzer '33 Ford Convertible Roadster was produced in conjunction with the Boise Roadster Show. It all originated in 1973. Fans attended the inaugural Boise Roadster Show produced by the New family to see up close and in person the legendary Batmobile at the Western Idaho Fair Expo. Years later, the Roadster Show has become the largest motorsports event in the Intermountain West. In commemoration of this rod & custom spectacular, we are thrillled to present the debut of the first Hot Wheels car ever produced for an indoor event of this kind.
Just picture yourself behind the wheel of this flamed, black '33 Ford Roadster at a stroke past midnight. It is the essence of what the Roadster Show represents to the hundreds of thousands of patrons and builders who have helped shape this fabulous March happening.
Craftsmen like Coddington, Brizio, Schoonhoven, Immerso, Nyborg, Cerini, Stewart, Raible, Emery and countless others have earned the show's highest honors, the prestigious Goldmark and Master-Builder awards.
Now you have an opportunity to experience a great Idaho tradition with the MIDNIGHT CRUZER! Limited to a run of 12,000 back in 1999, this jet black beauty follows on the heels of three other outstanding Hot Wheels cars from Firebird Raceway...The Nighfire Delivery, Ignitor Sedan and the Hot Rod Coupe.
