This is the actual Dinner Car that was given to the people lucky enough to attend the Dinner that was held to honor Larry Wood. I always enjoyed attending the Dinners especially this one being Larry's 40th Anniversary with Mattel, it was a tremendous amount of fun and entertaining.
The vehicle was made to celebrate Larry Wood's 40th Anniversary with Mattel. On his first day at Mattel back in 1968, Larry Wood noticed a Model A sedan delivery in the parking lot. It caught his eye because he owned a Model A pickup truck at the time. Larry eventually became best friends with the owner and in 1977 designed the A-OK as a nod to his buddy's sedan. Only 2500 were produced for the show.
